Unit 102 -  visual language - concepts and principles

The brief for this project was to produce 10 images which illustrated a biological principle such as "evolution, niche, succession" as well as a wider concept such as "energy, beauty, transience". The general idea was to get us to start developing the visual tools to make images which go beyond just being a nice picture of a duck to a picture of a duck which communicates something. The blurb with each image is the "rationale" we have to write, please forgive my flowery prose!
